Karasuya Guest house is a place where your world can grow

— through chance encounters and quiet moments of reflection.

I’ve always loved the open, laid-back vibe of guesthouses.

When I was backpacking or going through tough times at work,

staying at places like this helped me find new perspectives and feel more positive.

That’s the kind of space I want Karasuya to be.

A place where unexpected connections can happen, but there’s no pressure to socialize.

You can chat if you're in the mood, or just take your time to reflect afterward.

Like a curious, free-spirited crow.
Your world opens up — and leads you to your next

From Tokyo:
It takes about an hour by Shinkansen from Tokyo Station. If you take the Ueno-Tokyo Line, you can enjoy the view change from the city to the countryside at a more leisurely pace at a more reasonable price.

From Niigata:
The journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Niigata Station on the Joetsu Shinkansen. Enjoy the changing scenery as you pass through each tunnel.

From Nagano:
It’s about an hour station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen.
Crossing the mountains of Shinshu, you’ll enter Gunma Prefecture
while enjoying views of the beautiful Chikuma River valley.

From Kanagawa:
If you take the Shonan-Shinjuku Line from Yokohama Station, it's about a 2.5-hour journey with no transfers. We also recommend using the Green Car for a more comfortable ride.

go straight down Symphony Road.

Turn left at the "Aramachi Intersection" (look for the Gusto) ,
